This manual will help you with iCloud bypass on your iPad Cellular. After bypass iCloud you will have iPad Wi-Fi Only. Sim-slot and WiFi will not work. Bluetooth will work. You can connect iPad to your phone through Bluetooth and use Internet.
First disassemble iCloud locked iPad Pro 9.7.

- On the Model A1674 delete resistor #1 and #3. Optional: palce 1 resistor or make jumper on place #2.
- iPad Pro 9.7 4G will enter DFU mode.
- Connect the iPad Pro 9.7 4G to your PC or Mac.
- After that you need to restore the iPad Pro 9.7 4G through iTunes with firmware of Wi-Fi model and activate using the official method.
- Turn off the automatic firmware update: Settings \ iTunes Store, App Store \ Automatic download \ Updates.

Downgrade to 10.3.3 and activate thats what i did and also changed serial number for good measure!
This order worked for me
Change Serial Number VIA Purple Mode or Remove Nand and Write new one
Then disable Cell
Then use VIEUX to force a downgrade to 10.3.3 takes numerous attempts but the good new you dont have to keep going into DFU
Another script that i messed with and helped a lot was 10.3.3 OTA downgrader it will loop over and over tell it gets it so you can walk away for a day and come back!
Then you should be at 10.3.3 activate!
About to try and upgrade IOS see what happens i guess because i sell this thing i know some one will do it hehe :)
You could downgrade first but then trigger DFU over and over got old so i did cell disable DFU first upgrading back to IOS 12 it looks like it works just fine it most likely due to the fact that not only is cell gone but serial number is changed and i changed the model number to non cell the one right down below it 1474 (UDID Changes at this point) looks good and working! there is my contribution to the scene good luck! Now as far what would happen if ya just did a factory reset no idea!!! As activation occurred in 10.3.3 thats my 2 cents im outy!!!!
This is right steps. I test it and it´s working. But only for iPad Air (a1475) or older. On ipad Air 2 no way how to activate it. :/

The other one is in good shape but locked My question is: Can I simply swap the iCloud locked NAND from the good board with the good NAND from the broken board? That is quite straight forward if you have a PCIE nand reader and some soldering skills. You will also have to convert to wifi only but its a simple resistor removal and wifi ic change. I can do it for 100 bucks.
Without password, we should force unlock iPad without password with the help of the tool-Eelphone iPhone Unlock, hope it works for you, I used it, but lost all data after the success.

Yes u can remove icloud by hardware method, changing serial number n wifi number n bluetooth number then it will activate but simcard will not work.

I’m sure I did the right thing, by removing #4 and jumper #2 to #3, DFU mode, and stuck at error 9. Is it because there are no difference between the cellular model, and wifi model for the ipsw.

what is the model of your ipad?
The iPad in my experience is very picky about what cables it will restore with. Error 9 is almost always related to the cable, NOT the dock connector/flex cable. Use the official Apple cable if you still have it, or borrow one from a friend.
If that doesn’t work, it might also have something to do with the IPSW you are trying to restore with. Try using a different IPSW or using Redsn0w to boot Pwned DFU mode and restore it like that. Error 9 can be related to the RAM disk kernel rejecting the ASR because it is not signed properly, thus breaking the connection with the device and causing error 9.

you have removed the wrong resistor. now make jumper on the resistor your removed and remove the actual one.

you can only do this on cellular models,if you do this on wifi only models it will not activate.

As I know on Air this method will not work fully because of iOS 11+ restriction.
You have to buy SN, MAC and other for flashing it inside unsoldered iPad’s chips. After this procedure converted 4G -> WiFi only iPad will be able activate itself in iOS 11+
For old iPads wo iOS 11+ support all works great.
Hi, I did convert an iPad air 2 4G –> to wifi only , I bought a new serial number , new Bluetooth address and also a new wifi address, after I wrote the new information on the Nand , I Restored the iPad with the new information, the activation was successful, but unfortunately the wifi and Bluetooth still not working 😪😓… do you have any solucion or any idea? Or do I have to wait until the new JB comes out , so replace the wifi files?
Yes you need to change the wifi ic to the appropriate model for your now wifi only ipad. It is slightly different (but use same pads so can be changed) so the firmware will not work until its changed out. You can find these on aliexpress for about 20 USD

I followed the icloud bypass instructions for an iPad Air 2 back on some version of IOS 10. I wasn’t able to jailbreak that version and I never regained wifi. I eventually updated to IOS 11 and lost bluetooth as well. but it works great other than that.
I’m finally jailbroken on 11.1.3 and the ipad still works fine, just without wifi or bluetooth. Can I till replace the wifi firmware and get wifi back?

You can use the iOS 10 for recovering bypassed iPad until November of this year. Then the signing will stop and any hardware bypass methods will not work.

iOS 11 can be activated on bypassed devices if you downgrade iPad to 10.3.3 and then you do update with WiFi and don’t update with iTunes .
But the problem is that you can now downgrade but after maybe 1 month you can’t do it

If you have already had suck problem and can’t restore from backup than write to Apple support. Pretend to be a noob. Say that you bought such a device and tried to upgrade to version 11. Do not say anything about the bypass procedure.

I did 2 ipad’s air 2 64 gb, both of them worked fine. however since 10.2 is not signed anymore i could only go to 10.3.2 so now i have to wait for jailbreak. there would be the other method to change the wifi board on the motherboard, but there is no guarantee that the board will not get damaged since it has underfill also.
When you think that replacing the wifi driver is such an easy task, but we can not do it just because we do not have root access it’s a shame.
There could be another way to make a custom firmware with the driver already inside, but lately apple has done all they could to patch this as well and not be able to write cfw’s anymore either. There used to be a glitch that allowed to install cfw’s with patched setup.app to bypass icloud in software mode, but it does not work anymore, not even on older devices.

yesterday i removed this resistor r1205 on my ipad A1396 after removing it the ipad is not showing up even detecting to the pc. first i thougt it was the battery’s fault but i charged it the whole night till now it is not comming up or detecting anywhere. is there any wrong thing i did on it? or was the r1205 chip related to power suply system? any one can help with it or telling me wat to do of it. thank you.

I did the procedure to remove the 1506 from a ipad air A1475 Wifi + 4g still connected to the battery, it turned on normally but it was turning off, I waited to end the battery which by the way ended much faster than normal, and now I can not reload ja I made the restore for iOS 10.2.1 and now I have two problems: Ipad does not load and activation gives “Server out of service” error Has anyone had this?

Tested with Ipad Air 2 (IOS 10.1.1), wifi not greyed anymore, just follow instructions above. For jailbreak i used yalu beta and cydia impactor (cydia may not work at the first try, just don’t give up!). for trusting developer app you will have to connect to a phone with bluetooth tethering enabled (i used an android phone on KitKat).

Hey, Ipad was on ios 9.3.3 (Wifi-Only) when the hardware modification was done. i’ve then (accidentally) updated to ios 10.1.1 (when it was signed yet, itunes downloaded wifi version) => Wifi Lost. I’ve stopped any upgrade since October waiting for a jailbreak to be released. If you’re in the same case, i suggest you to keep the actual ios (wifi version, or at least the oldest signable ios) until the release of it’s jailbreak and manually add drivers.

I’ve got iPad mini 1 A1455 with broken baseband modem (it just stopped working and disappeared from Settings – empty field). After upgrade from iOS 7 to iOS 9.3.5 the iPad is not starting any more. Each restore attempt fails. In the log it is visible that it cannot pass to the second stage because of communication problem with the baseband.
Now my questions is whether you feel your methode will help and I’ll be able to restore to iOS 9.3.5. So it is not only if that would help the iPad to “forget” it has a baseband, but also if your solution will work with iOS 9.3.5.

You accidentally shorted out a backlight coil, IC, and/or filter. Its a common mistake that occurs when metal touches or comes close enough to cause a discharge and short out the delicate components.
In order to repair it you will need to have SMD soldering skills. You can find people on ebay to repair it for you.

ok, you have to restore to 9.3.5, but do it quickly. Then downgrade to 9.3.4. This will only work as long as apple has signed 9.3.4 and who knows how long that will last. After that, maybe semi jailbreak and try to replace wifi driver files after that? I’m not sure… But I WAS able to downgrade to 9.3.4 from 9.3.5. If there was only a way to trick iTunes into thinking 9.3.3 was signed…
